The Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign levels and achievements have leaked, offering a possible taste of what to anticipate when the game is released on November 5.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Campaign Levels and Achievements Leaked

A well-known leaker claims to have disclosed the locations of Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign stages and achievements, perhaps offering a preview of the single-player campaign ahead of its release. The Call of Duty franchise's eighteenth core edition transports players to World War II. And, while the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta gave a taste of multiplayer gaming, it was restricted in scale compared to the capabilities present in the final game. Players have had the opportunity to test out five maps and six viable game types, but they have only seen fragments of the campaign thus far. The teaser showed a lot, but Sledgehammer Games has kept several aspects of the campaign hidden from the public view. However, this hasn't prevented leakers from attempting to obtain a sneak peek.

The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing has filed a complaint against Activision Blizzard, alleging that the business has abused, discriminated against, and retaliated against female employees. The claims were refuted by Activision Blizzard. The Activision Blizzard lawsuit is being updated as new material becomes available (content warning: rape, suicide, abuse, and harassment).

A recent storyline teaser for Call of Duty: Vanguard reveals the game's campaign. The narrative takes set during World War II, in an alternate reality in which the Nazis intend to build a Fourth Reich. Players will take control of a variety of individuals who are striving to bring the war to an end by putting an end to the Nazi dictatorship before more lives are wasted. While the story campaign in Call of Duty: Vanguard contains real-life elements such as historic battles and real-world warriors, it is a fictional perspective on the conflict.

In a recent string of tweets, Twitter leaker Alaix COD may have revealed several Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign level titles and a list of achievements, all of which are still viewable at the time of writing. The pictures depict a thorough, but certainly not full, collection of campaign and multiplayer game mode accomplishments. The leaker also revealed the campaign levels' names, such as "The Battle of Midway," "The Battle of El Alamein," and "The Fourth Reich."

Many of the leaked accomplishments are known to fans of the Call of Duty series, such as finishing the game on Veteran difficulty. The majority of the accomplishments are unique to the plot of the game, with tasks that appear to be directly related to the campaign. The "Untouchable" accomplishment, for example, reportedly requires players to "avoid getting struck by the sniper" at the "Numa Numa Trail," the real-world site of the Battle of Piva Forks during the Pacific War. There appear to be 31 campaign accomplishments disclosed, but the leaker believes there may be more when the game is officially released in November.

It's worth noting that neither Sledgehammer Games nor Activision has publicly recognized or verified the leak. The fact that it hasn't been removed suggests that the information supplied is out of date, inaccurate, or wrong. If the leak is correct, the accomplishments do give some fresh insights on the campaign of Call of Duty: Vanguard. The Battle of Midway was fought both on land and at sea, thus if Vanguard represents it correctly, players may be piloting and/or captaining vehicles during this portion of the game. Many parts of Call of Duty: Vanguard's plot may have been revealed by the leaked list of campaign levels, but the information should not be trusted unless verified by additional pre-release materials or the game's launch content.
