According to a Bugsnax programmer, grumpuses were initially intended to poop away from their Bugsnax changes. Everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

Bugsnax, the cute, totally-not-nefarious, walking food puns, allows you to customize the grumpuses on Snaktooth Island by feeding them Bugsnax. When you feed a grumpus a Bugsnax, they will acquire some of its characteristics, such as french-fried legs or a Dorito mohawk.

That's when the stress ends; after they've been fed, there's nothing else to do. If you didn't feed the grumpuses, they were intended to get rid of the Bugsnax over time if you didn't feed them, and they were supposed to accomplish that by visiting an outhouse. Yes, grumpuses would poop out the Bugsnax if you didn't feed them frequently. Lovely.

Kevin Geisler, a Young Horses programmer, disclosed this interesting information in a casual tweet about the feature. ", he explained "We had a feature in Bugsnax where if you didn't feed the grumpuses, they would lose their limb morphs over time. And it happened every time they went to the outhouse ".

The rather open piece of information is accompanied by a photograph of everyone's favorite mayor Filbo peering down an outhouse hole. No, Filbo, what are you planning to do? Kevin, I appreciate it. We'll probably never look at Filbo in the same way again.
