The End Date for Destiny 2: The Dawning is Confirmed in the Trailer, as well as Other Information. The Dawning, Destiny 2's annual winter holiday event, is back for another year of baking goodies, hurling snowballs, and donning Eververse gear.

Destiny 2's The Dawning event has back, thanks to a tweet and an announcement trailer. The winter holiday event in Destiny 2 will take place from December 14, 2021, to January 4, 2022, and will be free to all players.

Destiny 2 includes various real-world analogs to real-world holidays. In addition to a number of other in-game events, The Dawning covers winter events, Festival of the Lost covers Halloween and Day of the Dead, and Crimson Days cover Valentine's Day.

Eva Levante, everyone's favorite space-grandma, will be bringing her baking goods and Holiday Oven to the Tower, just like in previous years. Players will be able to make a variety of cookies and treats for their favorite Destiny 2 NPCs with it. After conversing with Eva and producing their first-holiday gift, her entire inventory will open up, allowing players to obtain bounties, tasks, and upgrades.

Updates are a brand-new system for The Dawning, and they're only available when you buy Dawning Spirit. Upgrades will continue for the duration of the event and add the ability for Dawning-themed weapons to drop with even more benefits, as well as increasing the power of snowballs.

Eva has two new missions this year: "Rite of Dawning" and "The Pigeon Provides." Players will be able to unlock the Vapoorwill Spin exotic spacecraft and the Zephyr legendary weapon after completing these objectives. Players can then utilize Dawning Spirit to concentrate their "A Gift in Return" boxes from giving cookies into "Unity Gift Exchanges" or "Edgy Gift Exchanges" to track down specific weapon drops from The Dawning events that have passed.

As previously stated, players will be able to infuse Dawning Spirit into their snowballs to improve their strength and potency.

Alongside all of the events, players will be able to purchase Dawning-related armor, ghost shells, emotes, sparrows, and ships from Eververse for the duration of the event. Players will be able to acquire ships and sparrows from previous The Dawning events in addition to the new stuff for 2021. This year, it appears that Bungie has gone all out in this department.

The Dawning is one of Destiny's more fun events, comparable to others such as the Festival of the Lost. It's a fun and festive way to conclude the year and take a break from the grind that is at the core of Destiny 2. The Dawning event is now open to all players who choose to participate.
