This holiday season, Playground Games has a lot to be thankful for. The studio's debut game for the Xbox Series X/S platform, Forza Horizon 5, has been a huge success. According to Xbox, it was the most popular Xbox release of all time, with over 10 million people playing it in its first week. Forza Horizon 5 is being recognized in 2021's Game of the Year honors across the industry, giving Playground a new set of reasons to rejoice. With that in mind, Playground is extending a special gift to Forza Horizon 5 gamers as part of the celebration.

Forza Horizon 5 got a Game of the Year award from IGN this week, which was the deciding factor in Playground Games' celebration mode. Forza Horizon 5 also received honors from IGN for Notable Advancement in Accessibility, Best Audio Design, and Best Sports/Racing Game. It was enough for Playground to decide to throw a party for its fans.

Players who join in today to Forza Horizon 5 will get a special message and gift from the development team.
