PlayStation Now is currently adding six new games for January 2022.

Sony has revealed six games that will be available on PlayStation Now in January 2022, including some major heavyweights.

PlayStation Now, Sony's subscription service, may not get as much attention as PlayStation Plus, but it still provides tremendous value for PS4 and PS5 users. Sony adds new games to PlayStation Now every month and only rarely removes games from the service, allowing customers access to hundreds of games spanning several generations. Sony added six new titles to PlayStation Now on January 4th, 2022, to kick off the new year.

Mortal Kombat 11, the critically renowned fighting game from NetherRealm Studios, is the highlight of the new PlayStation Now games for January 2022. Mortal Kombat 11 had a lot of positive feedback when it first came out, and it's only become better since then owing to feature updates and character DLC. Subscribers to PlayStation Now will only have access to the Mortal Kombat 11 base game, but it contains plenty of material to keep fighting game fans occupied for a long time.

New Games for PlayStation Now in January 2022:

Mortal Kombat 11, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Super Time Force Ultra, Unturned, and Fury Unleashed is the PlayStation Now games for January 2022.

Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age

Enter the world of Ivalice during a time of war. The Archadian Empire has invaded the little realm of Dalmasca, leaving it in ruins and uncertainty. Princess Ashe, the throne's sole successor, devotes herself to resistance in order to free her homeland. Vaan, a young guy who lost his family in the war, fantasizes about being able to soar freely across the air. Join these odd partners and their companions on a dramatic adventure to free their homeland in a war for independence and fallen royalty.

Fury Unleashed

In this fast-paced roguelike, shoot your way through the pages of an ever-changing comic book. Play solo, in local or online co-op, and enhance your hero as you progress through the game. All of this is in order to discover why your creator has lost faith in you and to disprove him.

Kerbal Space Program

In Kerbal Space Program, you'll be in command of the alien race known as the Kerbals' space program. You can create a completely working spacecraft that flies (or doesn't) based on realistic aerodynamic and orbital dynamics using a variety of pieces. Launch your Kerbal crew into orbit and beyond (while keeping them alive) to explore the Kerbol solar system's moons and planets, building bases and space stations to extend your expedition's reach.

Mortal Kombat 11

With the 11th episode of the renowned combat franchise, enter a new age of kombat – and uncover the effects of Raiden's actions dating back to the series' inception. As new characters enter the conflict with the ability to bend the flow of the combat, buy themselves precious seconds, and gain the upper hand, watch as time itself is manipulated. As the all-powerful woman behind the cruel tournament exposes herself, battle-hardened warriors will confront their past selves, Time Quakes will shake up matches, and everything you thought you knew about Mortal Kombat will be questioned.

Super Time Force Ultra

Super Time Force Ultra is a time-traveling platformer with a twist! You have complete power over time, and you can bend and stretch it to your advantage on the battlefield. Rewind time and pick when to return to the action, collaborating with your prior selves in a one-of-a-kind single-player co-op adventure! Take command of up to 19 different characters and fight over six different time eras, from the far past to the not-so-distant future.

Unturned

The two new PlayStation Now games for January 2022 are smaller in scope, but they should still be excellent additions to the lineup. Fury Unleashed, Kerbal Space Program, Super Time Force Ultra, and Unturned will be available to PlayStation Now subscribers starting January 4th. There is no announced removal date for any of the new PlayStation Now titles for January 2022, so consumers can expect them to stay on the service for a long time.

There are rumors that PlayStation Now will be redesigned in the future, combining it with PlayStation Plus in order to compete more effectively with Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service. At the time of writing, nothing official on that front had been confirmed, so fans should take that information with a grain of salt. However, it will be fascinating to watch whether Sony makes any significant improvements to PlayStation Now in 2022 to make it even more appealing to Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 players.
