Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 initially hoped to play the game on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2021, however, the year passed without any such ports. Fans have yet to learn when Cyberpunk 2077 will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X, but it appears like the wait for additional information will be over sooner. CD Projekt RED has planned a special Cyberpunk 2077 webcast for tomorrow morning, with further information about the game's future expected.

The Cyberpunk 2077 live broadcast will begin at 7 a.m. PT on Tuesday, February 15. CD Projekt Red, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077, hasn't said what fans can expect to see if they tune in, but it's probable that information on the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will be featured. The live stream may potentially reveal some of the more important DLC and updates planned for the open-world game, which is a less likely but still possible scenario.

Because some console gamers had been waiting for the native PS5 and Xbox Series X releases, Cyberpunk 2077's launch issues were primarily caused by older versions of the game that ran on PS4 and Xbox One. Since we're now two months into 2022, it would make sense for CD Projekt Red to officially confirm the release date during the February 15 live stream, though it might be best for fans to keep their expectations in check.

It's possible that the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Cyberpunk 2077 may be revealed along with their release dates during the February 15 live, but it's also possible that the program could focus on something else entirely. Several Cyberpunk 2077 patches are anticipated to be released throughout the year to bring new content and address lingering difficulties with the game, so perhaps CD Projekt Red will reveal more about those ambitions too.
