Lost Ark Helgaia Pet is now available as a free Twitch drop. Fans can now claim a Helgaia pet as a result of content creators joining in a Twitch launch event for Amazon and Smilegate RPG's MMORPG Lost Ark.

The Helgaia Pet Chest is the most recent addition, and it allows players to choose among four Chocobo-like creatures in a variety of colors. Pets play an important role in Lost Ark, providing stat boosts and other benefits, thus this is a wonderful reward worth grabbing for those going into Arkesia.

To qualify for the discount, Twitch users must watch at least four hours of eligible Lost Ark streams. This is also true for previously unlocked drops like the Battle Item chest and the Arkesia Paper Hat chest, suggesting that fans will need to watch 12 hours of Lost Ark streams to unlock everything thus far.

The drops are part of the Legends of Lost Ark event, in which three teams of 20 content creators compete to complete certain in-game feats in order to unlock various tiers of in-game rewards for viewers. The Neugier Gold mount, which appears to be a luxury hoverboard that players will be able to zoom around Lost Ark on, is the last tier of drops that teams are vying to unlock. Other prizes, such as Founder's Packs, are available for content creators to give away to members of their communities.

Since its free-to-play launch on February 11, Lost Ark has seen great success. With almost 1.3 million people online at one point, the game has the second greatest number of concurrent players ever on Steam. Lost Ark also drew a sizable audience on Twitch, owing to the aforementioned free incentives that players can claim for watching Lost Ark content on the network.

However, there have been some complications with the debut of Raiders of Lost Ark. Following a Steam deployment issue, the game's free-to-play debut was delayed for several hours, and some servers are still facing long login waits. As a result, Smilegate RPG and Amazon are planning to launch an entirely new zone of servers in Europe, with all gamers receiving free gifts.
