Elden Ring has been verified by Steam Deck. Elden Ring and other FromSoftware titles have been confirmed to work on Valve's coming Steam Deck mobile gaming device.

Elden Ring is FromSoftware's most anticipated game of the year, and one of the most anticipated fantasy games of all time. Other new advancements in the gaming industry related to the Steam Deck, on the other hand, will serve as frosting on the cake for fans of Elden Ring and other FromSoftware games.

Valve Corporation and AMD started developing on a portable gaming gadget a long time ago, and speculations started spreading in May 2021, with a formal announcement coming in July. Meanwhile, Elden Ring was produced by FromSoftware and published this week on several platforms.

Valve Corporation has offered to help players who want to play their favorite FromSoftware games on the go. Elden Ring has now been officially confirmed as a Steam Deck certified item by Valve. Apart from that, Valve has confirmed the Steam Deck verification of a number of other FromSoftware games. Dark Souls 2: Scholar Of The First Sin, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Dark Souls 3 are among them. Additionally, Valve recently announced that Steam Deck now contains over 240 verified titles. Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 3 Deluxe Edition, and Dark Souls 2 may have to wait a little longer on Steam Deck.

Wario64, a well-known Twitter user, confirmed the news by posting a screenshot of his Steam gateway, which shows a green checkmark next to the validated titles. Unknown, unsupported, playable, and validated games are commonly found in the Steam Deck. A question mark will appear next to unknown titles, while a yellow marker will appear next to playable titles.

The picture shows clearly the verified titles, as well as one playable game and two unidentified titles. To enjoy "playable" titles on Steam Deck, users may need to adjust their in-game settings. Valve recently revealed that Steam users can utilize Steam Deck to check the compatibility of their games.

Experts disagree on whether the Steam Deck will give a seamless and immersive gaming experience, especially when it comes to hefty titles like Elden Ring. A segment of the gaming community is skeptical about Steam Deck's hardware capabilities, particularly its battery life.

However, there are rumors about an AMD technology that extends the battery life of Steam Deck. If these claims are true, Steam Deck could be an ideal answer to modern-day portable gaming problems. Gaming lovers were eagerly anticipating both the Steam Deck and the Elden Ring. Elden Ring, in particular, was a highly anticipated title among fantasy gaming players due to the partnership of two extremely well-known figures. Fans were excited to see George RR Martin, author of Game of Thrones and The Song of Ice and Fire series, team together with Hidetaka Miyazaki, director, and writer of multiple FromSoftware games.

Elden Ring is out now on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
