Assassin's Creed Valhalla players can now don Ezio Auditore's robes, despite the time difference between the Italian Renaissance and the Viking Expansion.

In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, a new Ubisoft Connect reward will allow players to don the famous robes of earlier series protagonist Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Valhalla, the next edition in the long-running Assassin's Creed game, transports players to the frigid fields of Norway during the Viking expansion era, far from Ezio's home turf. Ubisoft has taken a live-service approach to development, with the most recent title receiving numerous post-launch updates. The most recent material was released with the Assassin's Creed Valhalla update 1.3.o, which included a number of minor quality-of-life enhancements to the Viking adventure.

The Sigrblot Festival, a free in-game event that brings new quests, events, and cosmetics to AC Valhalla, was added in the July update. Sigrblot runs from July 29 through August 19, so there's still time for participants to join in the fun. Players can now wield a one-handed sword, which is an entirely new weapon class. Six new skills are among the update's quality-of-life changes, as is a significantly revised skill tree. This patch is meant to prepare for the August 12 release of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris expansion. This expansion will take place in the Frankish countryside and will introduce new gameplay aspects such as abilities, weaponry, and freeform Infiltration Missions.

Players in Assassin's Creed Valhalla can now don Ezio Auditore's legendary robes, which can be obtained through Ubisoft Connect. Beginning with Assassin's Creed 2 in 2009, Ezio Auditore was the protagonist of three Assassin's Creed games. His trademark white-and-red robes, which reflect the character's background as an Italian Renaissance aristocrat, have appeared in numerous episodes of the series. Eivor's robes appear to be from Ezio's wardrobe, and they appear to be from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, which took the hero on a voyage across Rome in 2010. The robes are free for Assassin's Creed Valhalla players who have played at least two games in the series with the same Ubisoft account.

The deadly Norse-inspired action game Assassin's Creed Valhalla will get its second major expansion soon, and it won't be the last. More Assassin's Creed content will be added to the latest installment in 2022, though that content will remain a mystery. The second year of Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC has been rumored, although Ubisoft has yet to confirm any exact specifics.

Ezio Auditore last appeared in Assassin's Creed Revelations in 2011, yet the Italian hero is still one of the series' most recognizable characters. His charisma, humor, and sympathetic past make him one of Ubisoft's more likable Assassins. With Ezio's robes now available for free to franchise fans, it's only a matter of time before Assassin's Creed Valhalla receives some more Italian Renaissance couture.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One S, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
