Last month, Apple listed Zookeeper World as "coming soon," but the company has now announced that it will premiere exclusively on the subscription service on Friday, September 10.

Players must not only solve riddles but also build their own zoo as part of the game. The description on the game's Apple Arcade store entry states, "As you accomplish requests from [zoo] guests as well as the Boss, your zoo status will improve. Before you know it, you'll be customizing and growing your zoo with a variety of styles and decorations.

“You could simply stumble across a family of ducks or a calico cat, or perhaps cruise about in a UFO.”

Gamers can also improve their gathered animals by raising their Charm rating, which transforms them into 'cosplay animals.' Punk Monkeys, Sailor Crocodiles, and Muay Thai Polar Bears are some of the examples provided.

Apple Arcade is releasing a rebuilt Castlevania mobile game that was previously canceled

Whereas the main game was known for its basic match-three gameplay, Zookeeper World has a number of new stage types, such as the ‘Move All Challenge,' which requires players to match all of the animals in one move, and the ‘Mecha Monster Challenges,' which are boss fights.

Gamers earn money and gems as they solve puzzles to unlock new zoo goods and animal improvements. However, because it's an Apple Arcade game, there won't be any microtransactions, so the cash will have to be acquired through normal gaming.

The original ZooKeeper was launched on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, followed by Zoo Puzzle for the PlayStation 2 in 2004.

The game's popularity increased after it was released on the Nintendo DS later that year, thanks to the handheld's touch screen, which was a great fit for the match-three action.
