Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Expansion has been leaked.
j0nathan, a well-known Assassin's Creed leaker and data miner, has discovered proof that the upcoming Valhalla expansion for Assassin's Creed will be called Dawn of Ragnarok. This expansion will reportedly take place in Svartalfheim, with Valhalla's Eivor perhaps gaining new abilities such as invisibility, teleportation arrows, and more. These assumptions are based on a leaked list of Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok achievements/trophies that will reportedly accompany the expansion. This information hasn't been confirmed as of this writing, so fans should take it with a grain of salt, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was correct.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla receives a 20GB update
It's unknown when the leaked Dawn of Ragnarok expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be released. It's possible that it'll be released by the end of the year, but it's more likely that it'll be released in 2022. In 2021, Ubisoft released the aforementioned Wrath of the Druids and Siege of Paris additions for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and if Dawn of Ragnarok was coming this year, it would have been revealed by now.
This Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok leak is the latest in a long line of Assassin's Creed leaks. More information on the secret Assassin's Creed Infinity project was recently released by a Redditor who supplied evidence to back up their claims. According to the leak, Assassin's Creed Infinity would have a framework similar to the most recent Hitman games, with players completing missions in open spaces while experiencing iconic Assassin's Creed stories.
If the Assassin's Creed Infinity leak is correct, players will be able to play as classic Assassins from the series' earlier games. Whether the Assassin's Creed Infinity rumors are true or not remains to be seen, and it's uncertain when fans will find out one way or another.
For the time being, Assassin's Creed players can look forward to some Valhalla content, such as the recently leaked Dawn of Ragnarok expansion. When Ubisoft's post-launch support for Assassin's Creed Valhalla ends, fans will have a better understanding of what to anticipate from the franchise's future.
For PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now available.
