Pikmin Bloom mobile game has been announced for release

Despite the lack of press surrounding Pikmin Bloom, the game has been in closed beta for a long time for many players. A recent beta update revealed the name of the Pikmin mobile game, as well as a press release outlining which features would not be included in the final version. This information was revealed for a reason: Pikmin Bloom was also released globally outside of beta on the same day.

Pikmin Bloom was announced in March of this year, with a release date of 2021. The game was in closed beta in Singapore, and little was known about it or how it worked. Even with a more widespread beta, many fans were skeptical that the game would be ready for release on time. Niantic and Nintendo decided to surprise their fans with a surprise announcement.

Pikmin Bloom will be released gradually over the next few days on the App Store and Google Play Store and is already available in Australia and Singapore. The game is about finding Pikmin seedlings and helping them grow in number so that a player's "Pikmin Squad" can be formed. Flowers will grow along paths as more Pikmin walk alongside players, eventually leading to "shared gardens" created by all local Pikmin Bloom users in that area.

Niantic hopes that this game will encourage people to take more daily walks, using Pikmin as a relaxing way to make those walks "a little more magical." Whereas Pokemon GO encourages players to explore to find new creatures and see the world, Pikmin Bloom appears to be on a smaller scale, aiming to help people enjoy even the smallest of outings with their Pikmin Squad.

PUBG’s upcoming mobile sequel New State will be released in November

Pikmin fans are ecstatic about the launch, eager to get their hands on it as soon as it becomes available in their region. While no one knows how long that will take, gamers should not have to wait much longer than they did for Pokemon GO's rollout, which took several months.
