Because leaked information suggested that Hogwarts Legacy would be releasing additional news updates shortly, this news may not have come as a surprise to those who have been following the project.

It's feasible that the upcoming update will address J.K. Rowling's transphobia in Hogwarts Legacy if the devs stay silent to discover a means to deal with it in Hogwarts Legacy.
