The Game Awards' participation with promotional material for The Matrix Resurrections continues, as it appears to indicate a reported Fortnite connection.
Lana Wachowski's The Matrix Resurrections has been heavily promoted in combination with The Game Awards' own advertising material for Thursday's awards presentation. The Game Awards recently announced that The Matrix Resurrections' second theatrical teaser will be released tomorrow, coinciding with the start of ticket sales.
However, another clue in the story alludes to something that isn't necessarily tied to the film, and fans are expecting a game-related revelation. The Game Awards will continue to be the grand stage for high-profile world premieres, and possibly something related to The Matrix will be revealed tomorrow that fans will see more of next Thursday.

The Matrix Fortnite trailer for the Game Awards indicates that there will be more "EPIC announcements" and to stay tuned until tomorrow. The emphasis on "EPIC" in the Game Awards appears to be a deliberate reference to Fortnite producer Epic Games. However, until tomorrow's statements confirm or deny anything, this remains a rumor and cannot be confirmed as true. Rather, given the suspected leak, it would not surprise many fans if cooperation was disclosed, though it would certainly be fantastic for players to enjoy Fortnite skins for The Matrix's Neo.
If this is accurate, players will undoubtedly see skins from the impending fourth installment as well as skins from either of The Matrix's original entries, as is usually customary with franchise character crossovers. It's also unclear whether Neo will be invited to Fortnite alone or as part of a team with Trinity, similar to how Resident Evil's Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield were added to the game.
The phrase "EPIC announcements" is plural, implying that more than one announcement will be made. This might be referring to additional Fortnite or Epic Games announcements, but it could also be referring to the recently speculated The Matrix Awakens movie tie-in. If this "Unreal Engine 5 Experience" is directly related to the film and not a more generic video game adaptation, it's just as probable that it'll be released alongside The Matrix Resurrections' other content tomorrow.

However, whether The Matrix's characters appear in Fortnite or are revealed for a fresh IP entry tomorrow, players will be able to see The Matrix's return to the medium in either manner.
